The Ontario International Canadian School is led by a very experienced Canadian Principal, Mr. John Briggs. He has been a teacher, Program Consultant, Vice-Principal, Principal and School System Administrator. He brings over 25 years of experience in Canadian education to the Ontario International Canadian School.
He is supported by Ms. Sandra MacDonald from Batawa Ontario about 2 hours drive east of Toronto. She is a qualified Principal with a Masters Degree in Education (Curriculum) from the University of Toronto. She has extensive experience as an Administrator, French Resource Teacher,
Special Education and classroom teacher. Her most recent experience was in the Canadian International School in Egypt as a Vice Principal and Learning Support Specialist.
He is assisted by Ms. Maureen Baraniecki, herself an experienced educator and Program Consultant whose expertise in teaching methodologies and literacy programs will support the efforts of each of the school’s teaching staff.
Mr. Briggs will be assisted, for planning and quality assurance purposes, by Dr. Gregory Cosgrove, an experienced Canadian educator with an international schools background as well.
The school’s business operations benefit from the services of an experienced Finance Manager and Public Relations Officer.
As the school grows, its management team will grow correspondingly. As those enhancements are made, parents will be properly informed.
